Taming the Inner Critic: A Women’s Hiking & Yoga Retreat

Most of us can relate to a voice in our head that is critical, perfectionistic and highly judgmental of self. A disruptive voice that reminds us of our shortcomings and where we could have done better. But, unlike a good teacher, this inner voice is often unkind and harsh with words. We would never think of talking to someone we love in the same way.

Taming the inner critic requires us to lean into self-compassion. The most important inner work we can do in our lifetime is to befriend ourself, to speak kindly to ourself, and give ourself the same compassion we so readily give to others.

In this retreat, Maddy and Kelley serve as your guides to help you explore the role the inner critic has played and it’s influence on our overall well-being. We’ll learn how to invite the voice of self-compassion and begin the process of befriending ourself. You’ll be warmly welcomed into an intimate group of women, take adventurous hikes, flow on your yoga mat, and enjoy delicious food and soul stirring conversations.
